Hey guys, when I am baking cakes--and yes, I do use butter!--one thing I like to do is use equal parts vanilla extract and imitation butter flavoring for that classic yellow cake batter flavor.  I was wondering if anyone could recommend a better/ more high end quality butter flavoring than, say, McCormick's brand?

I use Wilton's butter flavoring which I think tastes good.

I use Wilton too, but only because that is what we have available  McCormick is a good brand, so probably will not do a lot better.  It is an imitation flavor, afterall.

MacMorrighan, if you are unable to reply to this post, just start a new one referencing the original.
