I know this looks simple, but I'm not convinced...how is this dragon applied to the cake?  Is it just piped in buttercream? Is it modeling chocolate?  The more I look at it the more I'm confused!  LOL

I had first graders make these out of buttercream for a “Dragons Love Tacos” book party - super easy!!

good old fashioned piped buttercream dragon.  It looks fantastic!!!!

Totally agree it is piped, but you could do a similar effect with fondant modeling, but it would not be as yummy.
