So I'm making a chocolate cheesecake for a birthday and I completely forgot to add 3/4 c heavy cream, that the recipe calls for. Did I just totally ruin the cheesecake?

You might just have invented the best cheesecake ever!   Really I have no idea if it is ruined or not

it’s not ruined in that it will be 100% edible but it will not be as light — it will also be more chocolately— if it was for pay I would do it over — otherwise i’d be impatiently waiting for it to cool so I could eat some blush

how did it go? also:

there is some kind of new member delay on being able to "reply" to posts so please start a new thread to continue any discussion -- at some point all of a sudden you will be enabled to "reply" but not for a while -- maybe like 30 days — I think it might have to do with time and activity levels -- please respond in a new thread if you want/need to —

best to you

you'll be fine.  It's always better with all the quality fresh ingredients until something accidental happens and it's a happy accident.
