I know many of you are already fondant flower experts, but I came across Sedar Yenner’s fondant rose tutorial and I have to say, it’s quite easy and if you don’t have a rose cutter this makes rose making a piece of cake :). I can’t attach the video for some reason but it’s on You Tube.
My oldest, who is 7, even asked me to teach him....and he totally did it!!
The first pic is my first attempt using Sedar’s instructions..next two are of my son’s work :)

Aw, thanks! He was super proud of himself.I wish I could freeze time - he tells all of his classmates I won one of the TV Baking Championships...not because he's lying - he and his little siblings just assume that I must have because I make cakes :).
I was impressed that there was such an efficient way to make a fondant rose without rose cutters, ball tools, foam pads and all of that stuff. I try to make most of my stuff from hand (not to be fancy...more because I don't have the money to buy all of the new equipment) and this really looked professional (at least to me).
Have a good weekend!

Such a handsome and talented young man!
I hope this is the right one:

You are very welcome, MerMadeBakedGoods! I already had Sedar Yener's YouTube site pulled up because I had just, yet again, posted his portable cooler for transporting cakes.
