Attractive Cake Size For Two Tier Cake.

Hi all,
I am a little out of touch with my cake baking/decorating and am making my brother-in-laws wedding cake.
My future sister-in-law has requested a two tier, semi-naked cake to feed 110 guests. I was wondering what size to make the tiers? I don't want them too big. I was thinking worse case I can make the main cake and then a cutting cake to be kept out of sight.
I have provided an image to show what look I am hoping to achieve.
For that many servings you probably will have to go w/a somewhat smaller main cake & a serving cake I would make it 10” & 8” That is only going to give you about 65 servings even if you make the tiers 6” tall Rember almost all dessert plates are good for 4” tall servings Make each tier consist of 2/3”layers with a cake board between so the tier can be taken apart gives you double the servings
you need to advise her that in a two tier she needs a 13x11 round for 113 servings or 12x9 square for 112 servings -- as you can see all you need is the third tier so a 13x10x7 round is 124 servings -- the 7" can be the anniversary tier leaving you 105 serving in the two remaining tiers and with the square cakes 11x9x7 gives you the same 125 servings but the bottom tiers only give you 101 servings -- 25 servings in the top tier
all the tiers 4" tall because if 100 people are there and they see a very petite cake it will look off to the guests -- guests will think there's not enough cake for them all --
use this to play around with sizes and servings:
I have a bride who wants a similar cake, but she requested four tiers. I told her to assure the 160 servings required, she needed a five tier cake with the bottom being 14". She didn't mind and I don't think your bride would either.
