Is it just me or are complete messages not being posted after you type them out and hit submit? My initial post has most of its message gone!

Yeah I just hate not having the whole message there- it makes it seem like I did not even think about what I’m posting or asking before doing so lol in my OP I had mentioned my usual price for a 2 layer 8” round basic frosted cake started at $45 so for a similarly sized cake but with the added details in the pic, was wondering if $70 would be appropriate. I would keep it mostly buttercream but with fondant bow, crown and polka dots. Hope this mesage doesn’t get erased!

and no, in my opinion that's not near enough money -- that's not even two dollars a serving -- the bow and dots are easy decor -- the crown maybe ten or fifteen dollars -- i don't understand $25 for the decor myself --

best to you

My prices are more in line with what storefronts in my city charge. I asked a storefront owner what they would charge and they said around $70 or so.  I think prices in my area are generally on the lower side too compared to maybe other larger/more expensive areas. Thanks for the tips though- they definitely make me think more about the time going into the final product!
