Air Bubbles In Cake

Made 3 cakes to tort and fill for 6" cake.  2 of the cakes have alot of air bubbles.  Can I still use or will the cake be uneven???

You can still use them.   If you aren't already doing so, try dropping your filled cake pans on the counter, from a few inches high, to help eliminate air bubbles.  I also sometimes swirl a knife through the batter before putting in the oven, for the same purpose.

Lots of air bubbles indicate you might be mixing the batter on too high of a speed.  But.......yes, do indeed follow what Sandra said :)  If you don't want to do that/are afraid, then let the filled pans sit on the counter for 10 minutes and most of those bubbles will rise to the surface and you can pop them/pull them apart w/a toothpick or sterile pin. 

You are concerned that the cake will be uneven.  Just be sure each layer is level before putting the layers together with filling.  The fact that there are air bubbles in a baked cake should not have any effect on it being level (unless they are soooooo big as to be a big hole (LOL).

Gonna try that kakeladi about letting batter rest, Lord knows I’ve tried everything else.
