Round Suckers And 3D Hard Candy Making?

I started making hard candies earlier this year and while there were a fair few screw ups I feel like I'm finally getting the hang of it. I'd like to start making something more ambitious than flat lollipops and hearts, but I've hit a bit of a snag. I can't figure out how to fill 3D molds. I'm starting with something relatively simple as far as molds go, a 3D sphere silicone mold for ice cubes. However the spout is small enough that I'm having trouble actually pouring the candy syrup in. Or when I manage to actually get some in the hole it hardens while I'm still pouring in plugging it up. Even with a hole about 1/4" wide it takes a very steady hand to get it in with a ladle.
Am I missing something obvious? Is there some kind of equipment or utensil that's used to pour into 3D molds? I feel like hard candy suckers have been around long enough that it should be doable by hand.

i'm a classic and i use/d paper parchment piping bags -- i would double them and wear a hot pad to pipe the hot candy out
