Hi all!

I am planning to sell individual cupcake in an upcoming trade show I will be attending. I am thinking to pre-wrap each cupcake in a flat-bottom gusseted cellophane bag. I've been shopping around online and the cheapest one I've seen is about $0.20 each. I am trying to keep cost for the bag at $0.15 each. Anyone knows a good wholesale for those bags? Looking at dimensions of 4"x4"x9" or 4"x4"x7". Thanks.

leah_s, cake decorator supreme, uses clear plastic cups and lids upside down -- set the cake on the upturned lid, put on the cup voila -- brilliant -- she might chime in here or do a search for her posts for sizes and i don't know about costs --

so much easier on the amount of work involved -- opening the bag -- grabbing the cake just right -- sliding it in -- folding the bag -- closing it with ribbon or tape -- that much fine motor hand work wears you down fast -- adds up over time -- try the cups blush

best to you

just unashamedly add it to the cost of your product -- a five cent or twenty cent difference is negligible --

maybe you are trying to make it an even steven price for ease of payment -- just round up to the next quarter -- if you are in the u.s. -- and have tons of quarters in change -- no worries

get what you deserve and do it proudly

-K8memphis, thanks for the idea! Silly me, I've actually seen a cupcake store (the one with a store front and all!) does it just like what you said! I googled leah_s to find the size and found a post where she recommended using the upside down plastic cup and it's 9 ounce. I checked Amazon and it adds anywhere from $0.10 - $.15 depending on how many you buy.

Yes, I am in the US (in MD). Rounding to the next quarter sounds like a GREAT move!

Thanks for your ideas!
