I have never had a request for blueberry frosting.  I can't do anything that needs to be refrigerated.  Can I just ad blueberry flavoring to any frosting? Anyone have a good frosting suggestion for under fondant.  I was thinking of using Indydebi's crusting buttercream.  I like how well it holds up, but I honestly like the taste of store bought better than any homemade I have tried.  Its my biggest cake order I have had so I want it to be amazing lol.

I agree w/your thinking :)   Yes, use blue berry flavoring in her icing or use this one:  http://www.cakecentral.com/recipe/22469/2-icing

You could also add freeze dried blueberries that have been either left hole or crushed...

Wouldn't need the refridge for that...

Just the other day I played around with blueberry to mix in my Swiss Meringue Buttercream. I made a jam out of some frozen blueberries, and once it was cool mixed in a decent amount until I was happy with the flavor and color. I don't have pictures but it made a beautiful, pale purple color and there were small, pleasant looking chunks of shredded berry distributed throughout. The cupcakes I frosted with it lasted about four days in a sealed container at room temperature.

I agree with AAtKT.  I pulverized freeze dried strawberries and added them to buttercream with some cream cheese and it was so incredible.  It doesn't add any moisture to your frosting so you don't have to counteract with more sugar.
