I was wondering if anyone had any tips of how to get a vibrant, royal blue buttercream.  The color swatch I attached is what the bride wants.  The other picture is the color that I currently have.

What colours do you have? I don't think you'll get royal blue without adding a huge amount of colour. It look like yours has too much grey and yellow at the moment. Can you take a small amount out and a lots of blue to it see if you can match it?

I've only put different shades of blue in it.  Royal blue, vibrant blue, navy and sky blue.

Your bc has too much grey in it. The swatch you posted has purple undertones. I did a dark royal blue smash cake a couple of weeks ago. Take some of your batter out of your bowl, and add some purple/mauve, just a small amount. Mix and let sit for 5 minutes. Might take a few additions. Then had a bit more royal blue. No navy..it's too dark. That's what gave you the grey colour.

I have never mixed royal blue for buttercream, but I have for fondant and it got it as dark a blue as possible using Wilton then added just a touch of black.  That did the trick.  Buttercream may be a bit more tricky if it has butter, due to the yellow tones.
