Okay, so I've only recently been doing sugarpaste work. I was wondering instead of buying edible glue, if it would be possible to make my own? I've know some people make their own with a little water and gumpaste mixed together. Anyone have any experience with this? Thanks x

as @virago ‍ posted, tylose powder & hot water.  I don't bother mixing as the powder will dissolve in the water overnight, so why wash another spoon.

Haven't tried dissolving gumpaste is water, but it would work fine also, especially if you research the http://ericaobrien.com/blog/gunge-its-a-miracle/

agree with @MBalaska ‍on the tylose edible glue...

I usually half the recipe, put the ingredients straight into a tiny container (with tight lid), give the tylose/water a good swirl with a toothpick, then screw the lid on and leave it in the fridge.
