I made my pumpkin pie filling last night. I  let it get to room temp, then i wrapped twice in saran wrap and once in foil. Then i put it in the freezer. My plan for thanksgiving is to put it in the fridge the night before. Morning of...take it out and let it come to room temperature and then bake the pie

Does this sound ok? Im hoping it will  come out just as good.

Advice welcome! Thanks

Yes it will be ok. You can also put it in your pie dough and free then bam or bake your pie and free and then thaw. I've done all of these and it come out fine.
