Hi !   I need help making an Ohio State University cake.   I am not sure on the colors.  I was told Scarlett and grey.  I am ok on the grey, but how do you make scarlett?  Has anyone made an OSU cake before?  How did you make the colors?  


Thanks in advance for any guidance you can provide! :)

I just used a deep shade of red - bold red.  I'd suggest making a good/true red and waiting until the next day to see if it deepened on its own.  If not, add a touch of black to it.

Ok, thank you.  I have Americolor Red and Burgundy and couldn't decide.  Lol!

Definitely use the red.  Burgundy is too much on the pink side
