Vodka Soaked Chocolate Covered Strawberries?

I saw this on Pinterest and was wondering if anyone has tried it? I'm helping my best friend's husband for Valentine's Day and these seem like something she would love!

AThat's a neat idea! I've heard of doing that with watermelon for a party, but not strawberries. Makes me wonder how doing that with a raspberry-champagne would be.... mmmm. If you do a test run, let us know. :D

Omg I am so trying these for my sister. She loves vodka and has a big sweet tooth. Thanks so much for sharing.

Well, I gave them a shot! I let them soak in some Pinnacle Chocolate Whipped Cream Vodka for 24 hours, and I wasn't a big fan. Maybe I'm just not a vodka person? I have a feeling if I had soaked them in my favorite Moscato wine I would be singing a different tune! They were still good though!

Curious... because strawberries are already juicy and soaking in vodka or your favourite!!!! isn't there a problem with them being so wet after dipped in chocolate? Don't they seep after 24 hrs or is the idea to eat them immediately???

now i never made these nor ate any--but i just heard talk of them -- some of my work mates told me they made alcohol filled strawberries by injecting that little cavity inside the strawberry --served them at work -- it was a big hit of course -- i would imagine you would need to eat all in one bite for success?
