Baking Times For Mini Muffins And Cupcakes

Right now specifically muffins. I have a mix for normal size it says 16 to 21 minutes. Does anyone know the time for mini muffins?

Also what is the baking time for box mix mini cupcake

I'm planning on getting a pan that makes 24 at a time.

All my mini cupcakes bake in my home oven at 350 deg F for 10mins exact.

Yes, 10 minutes give or take. Keep an eye on them.

Lovin my new mini muffin/cupcake pan

Just finished a batch of lemon poppy seed muffins and I baked them at 400°F instead of 425° (my oven runs hot) and they were perfect in 10 minutes.

Do any of ya’l bake your cupcakes like 400 degrees for 5 minutes then rest of time 335 degrees if anyone has the time could you help me ? Thank you if you have the time  janice

Hi Janice  Never though of doing that    I’m wondering why?  If it’s not to cut the time I would expect it would dry them out —like big time/(     I bake my cakes at 300 rather start at 350 so I get a much more moist cake W/o the hump that is wasted

I am with kakeladi, the only things I bake at that high a temperature are biscuits or cornbread, never, ever cake.  Doesn't matter whether it is a mini cupcake or a 14" round.
