Does anyone have a letter they use when asking a venue to add you to their vendor list? I would like to have my business listed as bakery with a few reception halls in the area so that i can bring in more wedding business. I don't want to just go to the venue with cake samples I would like to mail them a letter requesting that I'm listed as a local bakery and set up a time I can bring in samples for them to try. Any suggestion or anyone have a letter they already use. Thanks

I'd call them and speak to the catering manager directly. A letter is going to get thrown away, but you have a better chance of getting an appointment if you talk to the person directly.
