I'm so excited....my town is getting a Hobby Lobby. We currently have only a small Michael's. I was wondering what Hobby Lobby carries as far as cake decorating supplies. Do they carry any other brands besides Wilton? Do they carry Satin Ice? Premade cake fillings? Decorating tools other than Wilton?
I absolutely love the hobby lobby where I live. They have so much stuff for cake decorating! As far as brands go I know they have Wilton and they also have Americolor gels. As far as I know they don't have Satin Ice or premade cake fillings. I have been to three other hobby lobby store though, and sometimes they have different things. You can always go to the hobby lobby website and see some of the things they have. HTH

I'm fortunate in that I can visit several Hobby Lobby stores. every one that I have been in to carries a line of "ace of cakes/Duff" supplies, including fondant, etc! they also have a big selection of wilton supplies, I just bought a wilton mold that I love!! If you get a chance to shop at any hobby lobby, they all carry about the same stuff! don't forget, they accept their 40% coupon on any smart phone, and that is something that they do nearly every other week! and, Michaels and JoAnn Fabric will accept Hobby Lobby coupons!!

So... if you show the cashier your coupon on your phone they will honor it? That's so awesome! 
We are getting one too and I was wondering how their cake section was...
Our HL carries more than Michael's but it's still pretty limited. They have more cookie cutters, they carry more that wilton, and more boxes, but I wish they had more than 1 aisle. 
Hobby Lobby's everywhere are closed on Sunday. HL is A privately owned company based in Oklahoma City and was founded by David Green, a fundamentalist Christian who built his business Biblical principles and attributes his success to his faith in God. He is often quoted that he "lives to spread the Word of God.' The music to all 425 plus stores nationwide is piped by satillite from the headquarters and a large percentage of the music is instrumental versions of traditional Christian hymns. They also have an online store, Crafts Inc.

I LOVE Hobby Lobby! The 40% coupons come out about every other week, and YES, you can just show it to them on your phone. Saves ink and paper!
Hobby Lobby is a HUGE store that carries so much more than just cake stuff. Be prepared to be overwhelmed.
Just FYI, Hobby Lobby ONLY accepts their coupons. No competitor ones. Boo.

All Hobby Lobby stores are closed on Sundays. I believe it is because they are a Christian based company.
That's no big deal. Chick fil a is closed on Sundays too.
