Hi
does anyone know if angel delight (or the stores own versions) will work instead of jello instant pudding mix? If not what should I be looking for? I'm sure the answer is probably already out there but search is not cooperating with me.

pusskin... angel delight and maybe blanchmange (sp) are the only things I can think of that would be similiar to USA pudding mixes. You could always make a test cake and see how it works for you. I wasn't much help I know but hopefully someone with the answer will see your post. Good luck

Thanks guys
the type of blancmange mix I've seen needs to be cooked where as the angel delight style mix does not, however angel delight is much fluffier andsofter. I have some blancmange mix left from making mud jelly so may try that in a recipe which gets cooked and investigate the others for frostings/fillings.
