Cake Shooters/push Pop Containers Help!!!!!!

Hey guys wanted to know if anyone has any suggestions on where I can get the disposable push pop containers for the cake shooters?? I have gotten them from bake deco in the past but they are constantly SOLD OUT, also have tried amazon, but once again SOLD OUT. I need these for next weekend for a last minute order. ANY SUGGESTIONS I would LOVE and appreciate...thanks, AMY
Thanks I did find them on etsy, but people seriously want an arm and a leg for them. I previously got them for $60 for 100 of them, so I have a hard time spending over $30 for 2 dozen. I was hoping someone would know a place to get a bulk order.
To answer your shooter question. Basically you form a cake in the plastic cake shooter or push pop. You can google them and see how they are. I know sprinkles does them.
I pretty much bake a cake cut circles from it, and then alternate cake, filling and icing till I reach the top.
I just did nutella ones with chocolate cake, chocolate mousse, nutella and then ferrro roche candies. They were AWESOME.
I feel silly - it's been a long day - but what are cake shooters. I am picturing desserts in the oversize shot glasses that I've seen at restaurants lately. What is done in the push-ups?

I see on that Sprinkles website that it says patent pending. Does that mean you can't make them and sell them??? (I think everyone's betting on this becoming the next "cake pop" craze, and that's why your bulk prices are going up on the push pop containers).
That would be crazy, I think. Maybe they make their own containers? And they have a patent pending on that? Those have been in use for a while. True that they were being used for cold desserts mostly. There is really nothing extraordinary about the dessert otherwise. Just a big waste of plastic. I hope they recycle.
Even here at cake central they have been made long ago. People started making them and then it kind of died down. I don't think they're huge money makers since a dollar or 50 cents of the product is what you throw out.
Yes, but <gasp> Celebrities like Tori Spelling are getting them for their 2 year old's birthday parties. If celebrities love them, I must too! lol

I know this is very late, but www.martellatouse.com has a case of 100 push up containers for $50. maybe it will help someone in the future when they want to make these.

Hello everyone, this is Mr Sprinkles the "inventor" not of the container, but of the idea of puting cake inside of a container designed for ice cream. Yes, the patent is pending. That means that you can make them to sell if you want. However you are put on notice that if the patent is granted you will have to stop selling. If you make them for your own use you will never have anything to worry about.
If the patent is not granted you can continue making them to sell with no problem. The latest news is that the patent was rejected, but I have appealed and will not know the outcome for at least a few months. I am hopeful that the patent office will change their minds. If they don't, that will be great for everyone that is making them now to sell.
However, please note that I do have the exclusive ownership of the national trade mark "cakeshooter" or "cakeshooters". So if you are selling them, you can call them anything else except cakeshooters. If you call them cakeshooters you are in violation of my trademark, so please stop.
AI have always detested the term "cake shooter" it goes in my head and makes me deconstruct it, find the root, combine "cake hole" (like pie hole, your mouth) and "poop chute" (you know what that is) and then the formed shape of the cake and filling or frosting when you push it out makes me think "Don't eat it, it's poop!!"
how exactly do you eat a cake push pop. Seems really messy without a fork. Do you eat one layer at a time? I guess I will have to find one to buy. Looks even more tedious to make than cake pops.

Ok, I'm going to apply for a patent too. Mine is for putting cake batter in these little cups that have ridges on them. Cup+cake...cupcake! No one steal my idea! Feel free to make them and sell them but if my patent goes through you will have to pay me royalties for that.

Just goes to show us all that you can't buy class and decency! I suggest you tell our moderators and other member who support this site with comments and answering questions to get a life as well. Especially the moderators :-D since their posts far out number mine.

I'm with you on no bananas in public! Also, nobody could pay me to eat a tube of cake, that's just gross.
I'm going to patent a metal ring with a metal bottom...I call it a "cake pan." That will compete with the cup+cake patent.
