Hi..Dimples Cupcakes closed this week unfortunately & I loved their wedding cake cupcakes. In recent news, they were outed for using a doctored betty crocker cake mix for their successful cupcake business & were forced to close their doors after a recent article in D magazine.
I LOOOOVED the wedding cake cupcake!! does anyone know the recipe for the so called doctored betty crocker cupcake & frosting?? - Gina

Could be that they were using wedding bouquet flavoring.

I'm guessing that they were using the White Almond sour cream recipe. It starts with a cake mix, and a lot of people use it for wedding cakes.
