I was wondering if anyone knows of cake supply stores in Conroe? I always have to drive wayyyy down in Houston and I almost have to make it a yearly trip and stock up on a bunch of stuff. I was just wondering if anyone knew of any closer by? TIA
Hi there! I live 2 hours north of you. I don't know of any cake supply stores except for Sheila's place in Sugarland. (Cake Craft Shoppe) I've resorted to ordering off the internet - Global Sugar Art usually has want I need and if I order by Monday it comes in on Friday. There is a Sur la table in the Woodlands that has some stuff like pans, cookie cutters, extract. I don't know what your looking for but if you find another place in our vacinity let me know. Wanda
There isn't one that I've been able to find. I drive down to Make a Cake off of Bissonnet and Hillcroft and Amazing Cake Supplies on Bellaire. I do the once every other month trip down there and stock up. I agree that ordering online is so much easier though. Even those 2 shops don't always have everything I need.
Yes, there are several but they don't carry too many items. The closest to you is S & J Cakes on FM 1960 & Stuebner/Airline across from the Hobby Lobby store. She carries a few items which may save you a trip to Make-A-Cake, Cake Craft Shoppe or Larry's Arts & Crafts.
There is another smaller shop that isn't open on regular hours on Jones road just north of 1960 called MEB Cakes & Decorating Supplies.
If you haven't been to Amazin' Cake Supplies off Bellaire that's another new shop. The owner is extermely helpful.

Thanks guys! I've been to those shops too, I just hate the drive with a 2 yr old! Once we get there she's raring to go. I'll have to try the place in the woodlands. I haven't been there yet. Where in the woodlands is it? They definitely need to open one out here. I know of some good ones in Austin and in Houston but no where in between!
