hey everyone can some please share with me on how to reach a real deep dark purple color? thanks

I'm not sure what sort of purple you're looking for, but my favorite way to do deep purples is to do a sort of "plum" color. For that I just do a lot of violet food coloring, a good amount of black, and sometimes a little burgundy. The bustier cake I did was a mix of those colors.. I'm new to cakecentral so I'm not sure how to post a picture of that here, but if you look at the cakes I've made you'll see it. It didn't photograph the greatest but you get a sort of idea what it looks like! Good luck!
