Hello again! I've been on a bit of a cakecentral vacation, but alas I'm out of ideas.
My daughter is turning 13 and is obsessed with bacon. yes, bacon. So we're going with a bacon themed party. Bacon wrapped scallops, salad with bacon bits, etc... for food. Even a bacon themed scavenger hunt (picture of a pig, bacon package label, bacon/ranch potato chips, Sir Francis Bacon quote....)
The dilemna is the cake. I've looked in the gallery, but not sure about doing a package of bacon, and I just don't want to drap fondant bacon over a 2 tier......
are there any other ideas out there??

We used to drive down to Portland to go to Voo-Doo Doughnuts and get maple bacon bars.
They used super crispy thick hickory bacon. It sounds nasty, but it super good.
I'v had choclate covered bacon. That one I didn't like so much, because the bacon was soft. It would have been good if it was crispy.

She really wants a cake, and not cupcakes. I like the second one crisseyann!! I didn't see that one in my google search.
I'll show her tomorrow and see what she says. We're having a laundry crisis right now. Apparently while I was working hubby told her she could wash her white school uniform shirts with her jeans if she did it on cold.
I'm amazed at how little my husband thinks sometimes, and how he just doesn't have a clue.
So now I'm up until who knows when trying to get her shirts white.
