I was watching some Food Network Cake Challenges and Ultimate Cake-Off episodes recently and was struck by how creative some people are. Not only with what they create with cake, but what they have named their bakeries! When they list the baker and what bakery they are from, a few make me chuckle and I think "what a perfect bakery name". One that caught my attention recently was Patty-Cakes Bakery. Thought it was clever, since her name was Patty. Do you have any you want to share? It doesn't have to be YOUR business name (since we all use screen names), but maybe a bakery you've heard of and the name is just "fitting".

one I chose for MY business but realized was already taken was
"The Sweet Life" I thought it was a great name because that's what I envisioned being able to do what I love and making money at it as being...a SWEET life!

I also like "Let them eat cake"

My last name is "Scheff" pronounced "chef". My company name is "Scheff Bakes".

Worked for me and I have my ex to thank for that name LOL.

It's not original, but since I only do cakes as a side business, not my full time job, I am "Cake on the Side".

I just incorprated my name "The Cake Guy" in Virginia. It's not terribly original, but it fits! I always figured if you asked who did someone's cake, they could at least remember "The Cake Guy."

My dream bakery will be named "Cake For You".

I'd love to call it "It's Not A Lie!" but I'd either be sued or have to pay royalties icon_sad.gif

I think it exists LOTS of places, lol!! I actually thought I was clever when it came to me one day -- I believed I'd made it up. Then, I checked online, and several sites popped up!

I went with Bunny's cos we had that 60's kitch idea.

If i were to go again, I would brand my company "Bake Well Tarts"

I think some people might not see the humour in it though

There is a bakery in CA called Every Baking Moment.... I love that one. If I had a bakery I would call it Petit Cake Junction. (I have used that as a screen name on occasion)..
