I am looking for a good recipe to use to make a chocolate cookie cake to decorate for my son's 18th birthday this coming Saturday.

Thanks,
Stephanie

I stand by betty crocker choc chip cookie mix! I use this for all of my cookie cakes and they turn out perfect and I never have a complaint! Just make sure you do not put a thick layer on the bottom of the pan....use a very thin layer or it will bake up to be way too thick and depending on the size, I normally only bake for about 10 mins. It may not look done all the way but if you want it to have the great american cookie taste and be nice and soft, and chewy, this is how I would do it.

Your favorite Choc Chip cookie recipe (mine is Alton Brown's "The Chewy", available on the Food Network website) will work baked as a giant cookie (aka cookie cake).
