What Size Are The Marshmallow Bags Where You Live?

Ok, this is weird. Every recipe I have ever seen for MMF calls for one 16 oz bag of marshmallows. But where I live (in Florida) I can't find a 16 oz bag of marshmallows to save my life. They're all 10 oz. Not that big a deal, just makes me buy 2 bags and then weigh out the extra 6 oz. But I just thought that was weird so now I'm curious. Anybody else have only 10 oz bags where they live? And if you live in FL and can buy the 16 oz bags, I'd love to know where you get them.

I'm pretty sure when I first started making MMF the bags were 16 oz, now they are 10. I cannot find 16 oz anymore, myself. I just adjust the recipe, add less water, less sugar. It's a very forgiving recipe.

I can find 10.5 and 16 ounce bags. I think Campfire (or is it Jet-Puf? or a store brand?) marshmallows are sill available in the 16 ounce size.
Have you checked the Kraft website for their products?
Have you tried Wal-Mart?

Cutthecake on your suggestion I checked out the Kraft website and found that they sell the 16 oz bags at the one store I never shop at, Winn Dixie. It's also sold at SOME of the SuperTargets, which I don't have, I only have a regular Target nearby. Good to know that I can get them at Winn Dixie though if I ever really wanted to.

The regular Targets that have a food section typically carry marshmallows, so they might have them there...might be worth a shot! Something more obscure like special varieties of things and flavors they don't have as much selection, but I know mine does carry marshmalllows. (not sure on size of the bag)
