I purcharsed some sanding sugar quite a while ago and it has not been opened. How long of a shelf life does this product have?

Forever? If there was something wrong with it, you'd know. If it was clumped, if it smelled bad, if it had mold....otherwise...it's fine.

Sugar pretty much doesn't go bad. In fact, it is used to preserve other things (just like salt!).
