Hi, need to get ideas for a birthday cake for a friend's son who is turning 25. He is a clean freak, loves playing the guitar (when he has time), works for himself in renewable energy and teases me about infant baptism (this is a standard joke, as he knows I don't agree with it and he does). I was going to do a cake on this particular theme, but have come up with nothing on the ideas for this.

So I thought I might do something on the cleaning side of things, but haven't seen anything that would suit, I have pegged a few ideas.

Anyone got any other ideas I might be interested in? I hate coming up with new themes and trying to get an idea together, work much better when I have a number of styles I can choose from. Arggh icon_cry.gif

Do you have instrument candy molds? Make a guitar, then make fondant &/or gp mop, bucket and maybe a window frame (I *don't* do windows thing).
If it's a round cake put several guitars around the sides.

I believe that you can get guitar shaped cake tins - or if you wanted to go a little more novelty - maybe icing on a glockenspiel with a few notes? Alternatively, checkout out a couple of our cakes for ideas on ...

ideas such as the Jack Daniels Cake, Celebration Champagne cake, gift wrapped cake or even a novelty car cake may suit?
