Several churches in town are putting on a free community supper. I am responsible for the dessert menu.
Today we received a donation of a ton (literally, really a ton) of whoppers, and approx 60 cases of 12 Smucker's strawberry plate scapers (essentially a strawberry sauce).
I need to create budget-friendly desserts and would like to make use of these free ingredients...any ideas? We also have flour....lots of flour.
Thanks in advance

Hmmm. Crush the whoppers and put them in a buttercream and use the strawberries as a sauce over anything you come up with. I would say add it to a buttercream as well, but I'm not sure how thin it is. Maybe you can turn it into a strawberry mousee. You know who you should PM, MAcsmom. She can come up with a dessert using ANYTHING! I swear she has endless ideas.

The strawberry sauce is a bit more difficult. The only thing that came to mind was strawberry Italian Ice or creamy Jello salad...
