I want to make my brother a drum cake for his birthday but only want to use buttercream.

Does anyone know of a cake I can make this way? Or a picture I can replicate?

Thank you!!

Here is a drum cake that I made with all buttercream. This was for a child, if your brother is older, you could maybe use different colors. Maybe black and silver for the sides with a white top?

Although I used fondant, you could easily make this cake all buttercream. For the trim ,just use a very wide tip to get the same effect. Also, I used linguine for the side decorations. Good luck
