If I don't have an airbrush? I cannot find the colors I need in gel/paste colors but I can in the airbrush ones. I will be painting directly on fondant with these colors. Any answers will be extremely helpful. Thanks!

I guess I should clarify my question, do the airbrush colors need to be thinned with alcohol like the gels, or can I use them full strength. I do not have an airbrush so have never used these colors before.

i've heard that one of the great things about airbrush colors is that you, in fact, can paint directly onto a cake with them (ie. do not need to be thinned down). i hope i'm remembering that correctly, you may want to wait for someone else to chime in, but i'm fairly certain.

They can be used and don't need thinning with alcohol. They are liquid based already. It will take awhile to dry as painting it on vs airbrush puts the color on a bit thicker. Not as good of control in painting amount applied as with the airbrush. Does that make sense?

I love using airbrush colors to paint with. Check out the skate board in my photo's. It was done with airbrush colors. You use them straight from the bottle. if you are going to have to go over an area to darken it, but sure to let it sit a little first, but other than that they work great!
