This one is the bomb! Paula Deen's recipe..
Simply Delicious Strawberry Cake
Makes 1 (9-inch) cake
1 (18.25-ounce) box white cake mix
1 (3-ounce) box strawberry flavored instant gelatin
1 (10-ounce) package frozen strawberries in syrup, thawed and pureed
4 large eggs
1/2cup vegetable oil
1/4cup water

Preheat oven to 350. Lightly grease 2 round 9-inch cake pans.
In a large bowl, combine cake mix and gelatin. Add pureed strawberries, eggs, oil, and water; beat at medium speed with an electric mixer until smooth. Pour into prepared pans, and bake for 20 minutes, or until a wooden pick inserted in center comes out clean. Let cool in pans for 10 minutes. Remove from pans, and cool completely on wire racks. Spread Strawberry Cream Cheese Frosting in between layers and on top and sides of cake. Garnish with sliced fresh strawberries, if desired.

I just add a couple of tablespoons of strawberry icing fruit to my regular white or light yellow cake. Gives great natural flavour and light pink colour.

Mine is similar and posted in the recipe section:

1 white cake mix
4 egg whites
2 T oil
1 1/3 cup water
1 package strawberry jello
1/2 cup frozen strawberries drained and pureed
1 cup sour cream
1 cup flour
1 cup sugar
1/2 tsp salt
1 tsp baking powder

mix 1st 4 ingredients until combined. Add remaining ingredients. Mix until well combined. Bake at 325.

We love this cake!

I modify Serious_Cake's "yellow cake" recipe by using thawed and mushed up strawberries that have been sprinkled with sugar (to release juice) for 1 1/2 cups of the milk, with milk added to make the 1 3/4 cups required in the recipe, plus 1 teaspoon strawberry flavor and a dab of pink color. It's awesome every time.

OH WOW. Steady2Hands posted that recipe here and I had no idea that it was a Paula Deen recipe. I guess I need to start giving proper credit.

This cake is really yummy. I use 12 ounces of frozen whole strawberries (not in syrup) in this recipe. It makes a really moist, dense cake.

I made one for my son's birthday this weekend... 1 strawberry cake mix... 1 box cheesecake pudding, 1 tsp strawberry extract, 8oz. strawberry yogurt, 4 eggs, 1/2 cup oil, 1/2 cup water...
It was the first of 4 flavors gone... and I must say I thought it was really good... I think I may have a new favorite.

I made my version of strawberry cake last night and paired it with a champagne creme. That is an AWESOME combo. Can't believe I never thought of it before.
