My DH and I live in Lexington, about an hour/hour 1/2 from Louisville. Tomorrow we are making a day trip to Clarksville, IN right outside of Louisville so he can go to Bass Pro Shops (BLEH!!)

So since we'll be passing by Louisville I was hoping someone(Leahs?!?!) knew of any cake supply shops that are open to the public on a Saturday and may be on our route. All I found through Google was "Louisville Cake and Candy Supply" on St Andrews Church Rd but that's probably gonna be too far out of the way.

Anyone have any suggestions?

get on yellowpages.com and type in cake supply and see what comes up - or find Leah's business number - and give her a call when you're close!

Conways cake's has some stuff and she is out on Shelbyville road almost to 265. Truthfully there is not alot of cake supply area's around there. Darlene who owns Conways buys her stuff from Country Kitchen in Ft. Wayne.

We ended up going to Bryants Cake, Candy and Chocolate Supply store. DH bought me my first Magic Line pans...YAY!!! Also got some hi-ratio shortening and a bunch of other goodies. Mark at the front was very friendly. We need something like this store in Lexington very badly. Hopefully I can make it out there more often.
