How Long Does Vanilla Bean Paste Last?

I recently bought a jar of Vanilla Bean Paste (Silver Cloud Estates brand) from Global Sugar Art. It doesn't have an expiration date or a "Use By" date on it. How long will it last? It seems that I read somewhere that it doesn't last as long as vanilla extract. Thanks.

It's just vanilla seeds in a sugar syrup - it lasts indefinitely.
