Hi all,

I need help decorating a cake that I baked in a rose bundt cake pan. I don't think icing the cake will work coz of the corners and indents. Can anyone pls point me in the right decoration of what might work for such a cake. Thanks in advance.

Hi, I also have that pan and about the only thing you can do is put glaze on it or powdered sugar. It was impossible for me (at least) to frost that thing. HTH

Ok I tried blue glaze--you don't wanna go there. Yellow is ok. Pink and read are good and if you have some edible glitter it actaully gets pretty.

However, I apply the glaze while the cake is hot. It just fills the indents for me if the cake is cold. I use a milk based glaze.

I have the six cavity large muffin-y one. I love it.

yes i think that all it really needs would be some powdered sugar sifted on top. if you feel it really needs decoration you could use a very thin colored glaze to give a hint of color on the flower. or maybe some sliced strawberries just on the side.

In fact I love that pan so much I got one for each of the kids...and 'borrowed' them back icon_biggrin.gif

I mean if one cake pan is good more is better yes?

Clearly there's something very wrong here but...

This was a training video for a specific purpose using them in home parties type of thing. I used the Jiffy cake mix so that I could make a smaller batch. There's a bunch of captions too. And a great fruit bread recipe.

These were specifically written for my beloved sister who is 'kitchen impaired' to say the least. icon_biggrin.gif

Sure. You mean the cake batter? Sure, works fine. I mean I colored the glaze too.

But I mean you get a browned carmelized version of that color if you color the batter. Inside it will be pretty the outside will be a browned reddish (if you use red)
