I am trying to match a ribbon from the bride! I'm at a loss. Any ideas?
My color says "sky blue", but it is more green then the pale blue ribbon. I just made a second batch of icing with just shortening, (I thought the butter was the problem) and it is still more green then I want.
I hope someone can help. Thanks.

Maybe you should try getting regular blue coloring and only use a teeny bit of it.

Anytime I need a true blue, I have to add a tiny bit of violet/purple. All the blues I've tried end up looking too green, especially when you need a pastel.
