I want to make the "Best Pound Cake" recipe found in the latest recipe section. I'm going to try mini cupcakes and was wondering if pound cake rises? I need to know how high to fill the cupcakes.

Anyone made pound cake recently? icon_rolleyes.gif

I haven't done that particular recipe........but in my experience it rises a little but not a lot like regular cake! It rises more than cheesecake lol..but not like normal cake......I would fill them pretty far up if you want a dome on them.

I wish I saw this post last week. I made one for the first time and I didn't fill the pan as much as I could have because I expected it to rise more than it did. It still turned out well, I was just surprised by how much it didn't rise.
