A customer wants 3 ideas for The Sound of Music cookies. I'm completely blank on this one even after looking on the internet. Any suggestions?

That is one of my favorite movies ever!
What about the flower-edelweiss?(sp?)
Love the nun in the habit idea or the alps.

I like the idea of the musical notes. Or maybe some cookies in the shapes of "My Favorite Things" like raindrops on roses and whiskers on kittens, etc...

Good luck! Sounds like a fun project!

what about picking out things from the song where she and the children sing- doe ray me fa so la te doe example a doe, a sun, a person, sewing machine, a long wiggly road, tea cups ect....

I need ideas for thanksgiving cookies for pre schoolers and i would prefer not to do the hand turkey, and the mom does not want anything that make you think halloween. I have a ship cookie cutter like the mayflower,
pilgrim hat (male), acorn and leaves.

what if you were to do a square cookie with a hillside sceenery with music notes in the air. everyone knows the cover of the movie with the hillside view, plus "the hills are alive with the sound of music". all the cookies will be cohesive you won't have to decorate a bagillion different shapes and such. when i think of the sound of music i always go back to this sound the others like "do-re-mi" and "favorite things" are good but when julie andrews is on the hill it does it for me everytime. ah now i sound cheesey, ne-way a hillside cookie with music notes dancing in the air; that's my two cents!

Wow!...what SUPER great ideas! I was completely stumped on this one and all of you really came through for me. I love ALL the ideas. I'm going to run them by the customer who's an interior designer. I'm sure she'll have some input too and then I'll let you know what she decides on.

THANKS, THANKS, THANKS TO YOU ALL!!!!!!

I don't know how many cookies, or what kind of presentation you're looking for, but I like the idea of the musical notes with do, re, me, etc.. Perhaps you could use black licorice whips or black royal icing piping to draw out the 5 lines of bars on a background, then putting the notes on the appropriate lines, actually making the sheet music for the song "Do Re Me" out of cookies.

This could be used as a centerpiece for other cookies too,
