I'm looking for a filling that tastes like DD jelly donut.
Any tips?

Ok, there have been lots of views on this but no replies icon_cry.gif I guess I'm not the only one who thinks this would be yummy.
Bumping just in case someone has a recipe.

I use to work at DD and dont really find that jelly tasty. I would just try those pouches of filling in raspberry. It may even taste better! IMHO

I used to work at a Dawn Donut chain years and years ago. All of the donut fillings (jelly, apple, custard, etc.) came in big cans from a company like GFS. We just opened the cans, dumped them into the hoppers, and filled the donuts.

I've used the raspberry jelly filling that comes in plastic sleeves, and I've injected that into mixed berry muffins. Yummy! thumbs_up.gif

I use the raspberry sleeves as well. I also mix in some Polaner's all fruit raspberry jam and it is absolutely wonderful. My hubby thinks it tastes just like the filling in doughnuts....

Thanks.
Bummer though, no time to order the sleeves.
