Thanks a lot!

I use print shop and designed a label for my boxes with a different cake and my info on it every couple of months.I just print them out when I need to!!Then I buy the labels in bulk.Much easier than ordering.

I do the same thing. I don't make tons of cakes yet, so I just buy labels in any size I want and make them myself. icon_smile.gif

I buy the labels at Staples and print them out as I need them. Or you can also try the place that does the address labels that are always in the value packs in the mail or even get a quote from Staples.
But for me, doing it myself is more cost effective.

I make my own as well.
I found some sticker labels at the 99cent store once, the same brand/count they had at Office Depot but for only a buck. I bought them all and I still have some left.

I buy my labels at www.onlinelabels.com. They have a ton of choices for shapes, colors, etc. I LOVE them!!!

I make my own lables too. I was looking for little cake stickers or something cute to attach my cellophane to the box when the cake is taller than the box.
It looks really cute to attach the sticker verses tape. And I figured they must have a website where you can get stickers in bulk. I'll keep searching. icon_smile.gif
Thanks for your quick responses!

I don't put a sticker on my boxes. I have a stamp, like a return address stamp with my logo and my name, website address, etc and I stamp that on the top of the box, not smack dab in the middle of the box but at the bottom of the top, right where you open it.

I bought my silver labels from a packing store here called Pack N Mail.
I used the same design that was on my business card.

I used to buy the circle stickers that office max carried (I think they have been discontinued?) and print out my design on those to stick on my cake/cookie/candy boxes.

I now have my husband design and make them for me...lol. I guess thats the perks of being married to a guy who is a graphics designer and owns a print shop! icon_wink.gif Well, except for the fact that he charges me...lol

This is so timely. I have been thinking about getting labels for the cello bags that my cookies go in. Any idea of the size. I bought from Vista Prints before and was satisfied. There's also a site called My Own Labels that looks interesting. Thanks

I tape a business card on the cake box. I like the sticker idea though, maybe I'll try that!

My 15 year old makes mine. SHe got a biz card size sticker and since we have my biz card on a pdf, she prints the front of my biz card. (She charges me, too!)

southerncake: thanks for posting that site, it's really great. I usually stick a business card on the box, but the labels are way less expensive. I'm just curious which size you use and color? Do you have a picture of a box with a label on it? Thanks.

fearlessbaker: i use Avery label 8167 for my cookie bags. they are just the right size. I put just my web address on them and stick them on the bottom on the back of the bag.

for my cookie bags, I use an avery small return address clear label. I put the name of my business and my website adress. I am very picky about professionalism and I think these look nice and not homemade looking icon_smile.gif

I, too, use vistaprint address labels, but just put what ever info I want on them for the boxes and cello bags.
