what is the difference between the 2? i have an order for heart shaped cookies half dipped in chocolate. the last time i made them i used a shortbread recipe from the back of a powdered sugar bag. can't decide whether i should use my regular sugar cookie recipe or that short bread one again.

anyone have any ideas?

I like both, but I'm really a fool for a great shortbread cookie. icon_smile.gif

I love shortbread cookies, but for a chocolate dipped cookie I'd rather have the sugar cookie. For me, shortbread cookies are more buttery and flaky than a sugar cookie.

For chocolate dipped, I vote shortbread also!
