I have read both the mock angel food recipes that are on here, and both sound good and are similar. I have to make a sheet cake of angel food and I think this mock angel food is about the only way to do this. Has anyone ever made a regular angel food cake in a 9x13 pan? How do you get it out of the pan? If you have made the mock angel food, I am wondering the same thing about that. I have only made angel food in the regular tube pan and I am perplexed.

i have a friend who wants an angel food wedding cake?????

I have baked traditional angel food cakes in both sheet and round pans. I just lined the bottom of the pans with parchment paper. Has worked every time.
