Is there a chart somewhere that has serving sizes of different cake pans?? I'm making a graduation cake for Saturday. I'm going to use a 14 inch square pan-2 layers and am not sure how many servings this will feed. I know if I searched I could find the answer- I've had a long week already and hope that someone will answer this quickly for me; because I feel like dropping from exhaustion icon_cry.gif

Here's the wilton chart I go by....http://www.wilton.com/wedding/cakeinfo/cakedata.cfm

HEre's how I cut cakes to achieve the wilton servings, round and square cakes ... and I actually get about 10% more servings on the rounds by cutting it this way: http://cateritsimple.com/_wsn/page19.html

Square cakes are pretty easy to figure, too. If you cut the cake using the standard 1x2x4 size, then you will cut the cake into 7 rows (2" wide) by 14 columns (1" wide ... the 2-layer cake is 4" tall). 7x14=98 pieces.

If you're going to cut the pieces bigger, for example brick size of 2x2x4, then you'd cut the 14" cake into 7 rows by 7 rows = 49 pieces.
