Gray Icing?

I am making a 50th birthday cake and wanted to use gray icing how do i make it and is it good?

also i am using an 12 x 18 pan will it feed 60 ppl or do i need to stack it?

To make gray you can use just a little bit of black gel color until you get the shade of gray you want. I perfer Americolor over Wilton colors but either would work OK.

12 x 18 will give you 54 2x2" pieces so if you want to stack it just to give it a little more height per piece (and people might tend to take small pieces), you should be just fine. icon_smile.gif

are you wanting gray or silver? you can still make the icing gray and use a little luster dust to give it that shimmery silver shine
