Does anyone know if A.C. Moore Coupons can be used at JoAnns?

Yes, they can, but only for items that they both sell. For instance, you cannot take an AC Moore coupon and buy fabric with it, but anything in crafts and cake are ok.

Thanks. I have a 50% off coupon for A.C. Moore they sent me in my e-mail and my daughter gave me a $50.00 gift cert for JoAnns so I want to buy a cake stand.

I live in a suburb of Memphis and we don't have an AC Moore's. They are building one I hear. How do they compare to Michael's? We have Michaels and Hobby Lobby. I buy most of my things from a local Baking Boutique, but Michaels will put out 40 and 50% off coupons regularly and I saw those for my pans and cake stands. I am excited to have some different options.

FYI, to everyone...I tried to use an AC Moore coupon today at Michael's and they would not take it. It was the one that AC Moore emailed me. Michael's claimed it was a "reproduction." I told them it was from an email, and I printed it out...it was not a photo copy. What did they want me to do...bring in my computer monitor and show it to them?!?? I was so annoyed!!! I made a special trip today just to buy that stuff!!

Thank goodness I do not have that problem at my local Michael's!

About AC Moore - in my areathe prices are usually lower on the same items, but the selection is not as upscale as that of Michaels, either. The silk flowers at Michaels are definitely a better quality than those at AC Moore. And you will find that AC Moore sale prices are lower for the same items than Michaels is. I can get the small terra cotta pots at AC Moore for 15 cents each, when on sale, but the least I have seen them discounted at Michaels is to 25 cents each. This does not apply to all items, but for the majority, I find it to be true.

You will also find that Michaels carries several items that AC Moore does not. I bought a ladies electric drill at Michaels a few months ago, which they do not carry at AC Moore.

I love AC Moore way more than JoAnns. I don't go to Michaels very much, it's a bit expensive here. I have found AC Moore has better prices.

You can use AC Moore coupons at Michaels???? icon_confused.gif

We don't have a choice here- it's Michaels or Do It With Icing. With the coupon (and even w/o) Michaels is a lot cheaper. . .
