Hello everyone. I was just watching Everybody loves Raymond. Debra made a new recipe called Brajole. Does anyone by any chance have such a recipe? I really need some new and different ones. Thanks so much.....

Your welcome. The first time I watched that show I wasn't sure how they were pronouncing it, I had to hunt and peck to find it on Yahoo search. I know Frank raved about Debra's Braciole but in reading the recipe it is made with round steak. I have never had any recipe with round steak turn out very tender, I suppose because there is a lot of fiber in the round cut of meat. If you try it and it is kind of chewy you might want to use a top sirloin instead, more tender because it is from the loin. I was a meat wrapper for Safeway for 30 years and my dad was a meat cutter many years before that, that's the only reason I know a bit about cuts of beef.

Oh, hey, great suggestion. Yea, I have noticed that it is difficult to get round steak tender. I think I will take your suggestion and try the top sirloin. Thank you so much, Shirley. I really do appreciate your help!!
