I am trying to make some caramel candies and I am rolling them out but the candy is so hot that I have to wait for it to cool and by that time it's too hard to get it into the shape I want. Does anyone know of a special type of glove that you can use for this type of thing? My hands hurt from trying to handle that hot caramel.

I use the new silicone gloves made by Wilton for things like that, they work well!

If you have a Michaels or a JoAnns nearby, check the Wilton aisle.

Silicone Oven Mitt
570-1126
$9.99

Try that link -- it's on the Wilton website under bakeware, under silicone bakeware. They are selling the yellow gloves, I got the blue ones from JoAnns. Also note you will have to buy two gloves, they don't sell them in pairs. Hope that helps! icon_smile.gif
