Here's a super simple mousse recipe, you can use it to make any flavor mousse.

1 small box instant pudding (chocolate in this case)
1 pint (2 cups) heavy cream

Whisk until thoroughly combined.

This can stay at room temp for up to three days.

7yyrt, that can be left on the counter for three days? That doesn't seem right. The cream should curdle. All it is is pudding mix and cream right?

I puree the fruit I'm going to use with a little sugar, to taste, and some constarch or gelatin. Then mix in some cream. Then whip up some cream to stiff peaks and fold into fruit and cream mixture. Some use eggs white that have been whipped to stiff peaks and fold that in, but I can't bring myself to use eggs. I loathe meringues, eww.

For chocolate the same. I almost start off making a ganache but then once choc. and cream have cooled, I fold in the whipped cream.

There is a great Raspberry Mousse recipe on here that I can never find but I remember...

1 (8oz) pkg cream cheese, softened
4ish ounces seedless raspberry preserves
1 tub cool whip

mix together cream cheese and preserves until smooth, fold in cool whip. Refrigerate 30 minutes

Well the link is gone, but that is what it said.
Now that you point it out, fmandds
- that DOESN'T make very much sense.
