Do they make such a thing? Of course Christmas isn't even here yet but I'm already thinking of things to make for Valentine's Day.....have to get flyers ready to get out right after Christmas....anyway my question is do they make heart shaped liners for the heart shaped pans? Just curious. I have a request for heart shaped cupcakes but don't really know how to go about doing that without the liners. TIA!

I don't know about liners, but you can make the cupcakes in the pan without them. Just grease and flour the pan well or even just grease it well. I made heart cupcakes last year and didn't use liners. Nothing stuck to the pan but a crumb or two. And I have found that if I use non-stick spray well, they won't stick.

Reynolds aluminum makes Fun Shapes aluminum cupcake cups that are the equivalent of a single cupcake. I've used them and I love them because they are so easy to handle while icing and transporting.

Here's the link to an example:

Another way to do it is to make a small ball out of tin foil and wedge it between the liner and the muffin tin, making a heart shape. This makes a pretty cute heart shaped cupcake, too, in a paper liner.

Thank you both! I like the idea of the reynolds tins. That is why I am curious about the liners (transportation) and ease of eating. The people would like to be able to eat them like a cupcake so I'm afraid if I just bake the cakes and then decorate they would have to use a fork without getting icing all over them. Thanks again!

I've put a round liner in the pan and stuck a small marble between the liner and the pan on one side. Put the batter in the cup and you can move it around to make it haeart shaped. The marble will be fine while baking and it makes the liner and cupcake heart shaped.

I have a bunch of then from a wedding and decided to flip them upside down to make a chubby cheeked santa. Just a thought.
